How do I find out about rush events?
The chapter will post fliers around campus. Also, if you want more
information about rush week, the High Delta's information is available
on the Contact Us page of the site
There are so many choices, how do I decide?
Don’t worry about deciding, just spend some
time with each chapter, meet a lot of great people,
and enjoy the fun. Not every chapter is a good match
for every person, but after you spend some time
with the fraternities, you’ll know where
you feel most at home.
Will there be drinking?
No. All the Greek organizations at UMBC believe
that the purpose of rush is to learn, promote
Greek life, and make new students feel welcome.
The fraternities and sororities at UMBC have a
strict policy on enforcing a “dry”
rush period.
Does rush cost
anything?
No. Rush is completely free. There is no cost
to register and the fraternities pay for all the
activities. We invite you as our guests to have
fun and to meet all of our members.
